DENTAL IMPLANT

single dental implant
A dental implant is a fixture consisting of 3 parts - titanium screw, abutment and a dental crown. They are surgically inserted into the patient’s mouth, replacing the missing or damaged tooth.

Dental implants are indistinguishable from natural teeth as they are crafted specifically according to the patient’s needs taking into consideration the individual size, colour, shape and the patient’s smile.

IMPLANT SUPPORTED BRIDGE

implant supported bridge
Implant supported bridge is a treatment method used when to restore several teeth on one side. Using multiple teeth implants as the anchors of the dental bridge, several dental crowns can be placed into the patient’s mouth.

*For example, 2 dental implants can hold 3 dental crowns together on a single bridge (see image). This method is considered as a much more affordable option for restoring several damaged or missing teeth.

DENTAL IMPLANT PROCEDURE

During the dental implant placement procedure, a dental implant is surgically inserted where it remains covered for 3 to 6 months until it integrates inside the jawbone. Once the process is done, a healing cap is provided which will need to be worn for 2 to 6 weeks.

After this our team will construct a custom made crown/set of crowns and during the final appointment fit them inside the mouth restoring the damaged tooth/teeth. For more information on the dental implant treatment procedure click on the button below.
